Division of Quality Assurance & Performance Evaluation
The Division advances academic quality and institutional performance by embedding a culture of quality, aligning with recognized academic standards, and driving continuous improvement across the College of Medicine.
Core Functions
- Document the College’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives and establish mechanisms for regular review and updates.
- Promote a culture of quality among faculty members, students, and administrative staff through awareness and engagement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain an electronic database of the College’s human and material resources to inform policy, planning, and improvement actions.
- Assess developmental needs across academic and administrative activities; design training and upskilling programs to build human capacity.
- Optimize utilization of available material resources to support effective and efficient academic delivery.
- Adopt and operationalize recognized academic standards for all degree programs offered by the College.
- Develop, standardize, and periodically update program specifications and course descriptions.
- Oversee the preparation, documentation, and annual reporting of program and course reports and ensure timely submission and follow-up.
Subordinate Units
Monitors key academic and administrative performance indicators, prepares analytical reports,
and recommends corrective and enhancement actions aligned with the College’s strategic plan.
Ensures teaching laboratories comply with safety, calibration, and quality standards; supports
readiness for practical sessions and accreditation requirements.
Designs and delivers workshops and training programs for faculty and staff; provides technical support
to facilitate implementation of quality systems and digital documentation.
Coordinates quality assurance procedures, conducts internal reviews, and follows up on improvement
plans to ensure compliance with institutional and external standards.
